A male was reportedly walking up to at least five homes in the Hampshire/Schocalog area on Thursday, 5/25, at around 4-5PM. The initial person reported he was approaching homes that looked as if nobody was home. It has been reported to the police, and there will be added patrols in the neighborhood so response time should be quick. If you see anything that looks suspicious, call the APD non-emergency number is 330-375-2181. A related report stated that a man fitting the description (below) rang their doorbell and claiming to be selling windows, although he had no identification or company name that was obvious to them.
There have not been any reported burglaries in the area lately.
