JOIN US TOMORROW NIGHT!!!

Plan now to join your neighbors at the upcoming Fairlawn Heights Neighborhood Association’s (FHNA) annual meeting,  Tuesday, October 10, at 6:30 at Resnik Community Learning Center.  The centerpiece of the meeting will be a discussion of Issue 4, led by the Mayor of Akron, or a member of his cabinet.  Area residents will vote in November on Issue 4, which, if approved, would increase the city’s income tax from 2.25 percent to 2.5 percent, to pay for street repaving and police and fire services. The tax hike would be the first increase for public services in 36 years and the money would be divided equally between police, fire and roads.

Also included in the agenda will be the annual election of FHNA officers, discussion of a new FHNA dues structure, and announcement of plans for the coming year.  City Council President and our ward representative, Marilyn Keith, will also be in attendance.

Everyone in Fairlawn Heights, whether or not you are a member of FHNA, is encourage to attend this informative meeting.
