Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We have had a concerning incident in Fairlawn Heights that we believe you should know about. One of our residents was walking south on Somerset from Ridgewood and noticed that she was being observed by a man in a grayish new model Chevrolet Cruz who was parked in the southbound lane. She passed the car, which then moved to the stop sign on Amesbury. She passed the car again, turned west onto Amesbury. As she approached Inverness, the car was again waiting at the stop sign. She continued to walk, acknowledging the driver. The driver then asked her a question and, when she neared the car to answer, discovered that the driver had exposed himself and was engaged in what can only be described as inappropriate behavior.
She has notified the police who promised to watch out for this individual.
So, please be on the lookout for such car and, if you think you see suspicious individual, avoid him and, if possible, get the license number and notify the police.
