If you, like many Fairlawn Heights residence, still have leaves piled on the edge of your lawn waiting for the City pickup, our council representative, Marilyn Keith, has information for you.
“I’ve heard back from the Superintendent of Highway Maintenance,” said Council President, Marilyn Keith. “He said they are hoping to get back to Fairlawn Heights in mid-February depending on snow and ice events. I know this isn’t good news but each snow event pushes them back two-three days on their schedule. They do promise to pick up all leaves.”
Later this week the City of Akron’s webpage will be updated on leaf collection efforts. If you want to be sure your leaves are picked up, call 311 (330/375-2211) and submit your address.
